Energyhurricane Yunmeng Grid-Side Energy Storage Power Station Has Been Honored as a Key Enterprise Project by the Local Government.

The Yunmeng Grid-Side Energy Storage Power Station Project is fully invested and constructed by Energyhurricane Co., Ltd. Located on the west side of the former National Highway 316 in Jiepai Village, Daodian Township, the project is adjacent to Yunmeng Daodian 220kV Substation, boasting sound supporting facilities and favorable grid connection conditions.
With a total investment of approximately 350 million yuan, the project is developed on the idle industrial land formerly owned by Hubei Yunhao New Building Materials Co., Ltd. It covers a total land area of 29,639.8 square meters (equivalent to 44.46 mu). Upon completion, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 80 million yuan and an annual tax revenue of 8 million yuan. As a key demonstration project for revitalizing inefficient idle land and fostering the new energy industry in our township, it has been included in the list of key supported projects by the Hubei Provincial Energy Bureau and falls under the category of new energy and new business forms encouraged by the state.
The project is designed with an installed capacity of 100MW/200MWh. It mainly consists of core facilities such as battery energy storage systems, battery containers and converter containers, along with a full set of auxiliary facilities including a step-up substation, power distribution room, fire control & monitoring system and safety protection facilities. Designed and constructed in line with standardized, intelligent and eco-friendly principles, the project features advanced equipment and a comprehensive safety system, complying with the new energy industry regulations and grid access standards of the provincial and municipal authorities.
As a key initiative to implement the national “Dual Carbon” strategy and advance the green and low-carbon energy transition, the project will perform important functions including grid peak shaving, frequency regulation, voltage regulation and emergency backup after operation. It will greatly improve the stability, reliability and carrying capacity of the regional power grid, ease the power supply-demand imbalance between peak and off-peak hours, remedy weaknesses in grid operation, and comprehensively optimize the power grid framework of the county. It will provide solid energy guarantee and industrial support for the high-quality economic and social development of Yunmeng County.
